Mexican architecture JS ª office has completed 235 of Amsterdam in Mexico. This project consists of intervention in an Art Deco old house, cataloged by the National Institute of Beaux Arts. Full house, façade and interior, better to create three apartments (one duplex, two-simplex), with access through double-height hall, decorated with period prints and stained glass windows. At the end of the property designed buildings, with five apartments on six levels, three of which are superimposed on the building. Each is a hidden, creating a terrace that opens to a tree-lined street. The way in which new buildings and homes that join, open space for the central core, oriented toward the south. The front of this building is the new body, especially in the glass, in contrast to the massiveness of Art Deco architecture, at the same time, a large stained glass window in a modern style with pieces of glass rectangles of different colors and textures to pay homage to the colored-glass window of the original house. Design took part in all of space, highlighting the decorative elements, such as mold and windows, which is preserved in the renovation, these elements are combined with the current elements, such as the staircase newel, or contemporary chandeliers, and when mixed, they create a unique and warm environment. Lighting that combines elements from the ceiling, and decorative elements, creating a warm atmosphere which is equipped with materials and colors repeated throughout the apartment.
