With more than 5000 kinds of valuable shellfish from around the world on the screen, the exterior of the building that has created a furor. With four floors above ground and one underground floor, the building contains approximately 18,000 square feet of space. Fittingly structure in line with the theme of shells and mix a variety of organic shapes versatile in design. Materials project architect imagined a natural flow curve and also shows the customized nature of the concept of curved products.The Hunter Douglas playing with advantageous geographical building site to build the main exhibition space in the direction of stretching. This arrangement allows scenery and panoramic views from the wide picture window in lounge.From museum inside, glazed wall is transparent, from the outside, it effectively reflects the environment so that the buildings slid smoothly into the blue sky and sea green, appeared as a series of “shells”.via
