Slunakov – Olomouc city of Ecological Activity Center was designed as part of a project entitled “Slunakov, facilities, ecological activities – biocenter education”, which is located northwest of Olomouc, in the valley of the River Morava. This facility will be used to educate the public about the environment and processes and to support community environmental awareness. The building was also used as an information center and entrance to the Natural Protected Areas Litovelske Pomoravi. Center itself is used for various activities. This building also allows “soft tourism”, which includes environmental education programs. Because the Center has been designed as an energy-efficient buildings, also provides the public with examples of the possibilities available when designing a house and promote ecologically sustainable development. Architecture design utilizing south orientation with glass facades with curtain Sun moves south. Two hidden entrance located on the north side. East side of the symbolic buildings rising from the ground to improve the look of the southwestern sun.
